Shift anomaly
1. Shift delay:
Under normal circumstances, during the acceleration process of the vehicle, the gearbox will shift in time according to a reasonable speed and speed. If it is found that after stepping on the accelerator, the engine speed increases, the speed has not been increased correspondingly, and the shift is completed after several seconds, such as the original shift should be raised at about 2000 RPM, and the result is 3000 RPM or even higher before the shift, which is likely to mean that the shift solenoid valve, valve body and other components inside the gearbox have failed. It affects the normal shift timing control.
2. Obvious shift frustration:
When shifting, the vehicle appears obvious shaking and rushing, as if someone suddenly pushed or pulled a car in the back, this not smooth shifting feeling indicates that the friction plate, clutch plate and other transmission components inside the gearbox may be seriously worn, or the shifting oil pressure is unstable, and the smooth process of shifting cannot be guaranteed.
3. Jump or block:
When the vehicle is running, the automatic gearbox jumps from one gear to another without any reason, instead of operating in accordance with the normal upshift or downshift logic. For example, the D-gear (forward gear), which is originally running at a normal and uniform speed, suddenly jumps to the N-gear (neutral gear), or the gear jumps back and forth between each gear, which is often a serious problem with the transmission control system. Such as control module failure, sensor failure, etc., resulting in its inability to accurately determine the gear position it should be in.
4.Wrong speed after shifting:
When there is a problem with the shift transmission and the transmission ratio of the gearbox is wrong, the engine speed will increase or reverse to slow down the speed
Abnormal sound problem
1. Abnormal sound during driving:
When the vehicle is driving, there is an abnormal hum, clatter or sharp roar from the transmission part. For example, in a specific speed range, such as 40-60 km/h, you can always hear the continuous buzz from the gearbox, which may be caused by bearing wear inside the gearbox, poor gear mesh and other reasons. If there is a clicking sound at the moment of shifting, it may be a malfunction of the synchronizer or the shifting fork.
2. Neutral or parking gear also has abnormal noise:
Even if the vehicle is in neutral or stop gear, the gearbox will still make a strange sound when the engine is running, which may mean that there are parts loose inside the gearbox, or the oil pump and other abnormal working conditions during operation.
3. Abnormal transmission noise:
When bearings and transmission components are worn or damaged, the gearbox is prone to abnormal noise
There is an oil leak
1. Oil stains on the ground:
After parking for a period of time, observe the ground where the vehicle is parked, and if there is red or brown oil stains, it is likely that the transmission oil is leaking. Transmission oil leakage will lead to insufficient internal lubrication and oil pressure of the gearbox, affecting its normal operation, and long-term oil leakage will aggravate the wear of internal components of the gearbox. Common oil leakage parts may be caused by aging damage to the oil seal, and the oil pan seal is not tight.
2. Smell burning:
In the process of driving, especially after a long time driving or frequent shift, smell a burnt smell, it may be that the transmission oil temperature is too high, there is deterioration or even burning, which may be because the internal friction of the transmission is too large, such as the clutch plate excessive friction for a long time, or the transmission cooling system failure, can not effectively heat dissipation, resulting in abnormal increase in oil temperature.
3.Oil leakage:
there is oil leakage at the gearbox housing or oil pan, one reason is due to aging seals and poor sealing; Another reason is that the poor manufacturing process causes the shell to have sand

The instrument indicates that the fault light is on
There is a fault indicator light specifically for the gearbox on the instrument panel of the vehicle. When the light is on, it indicates that the gearbox control system has detected relevant faults, which may be caused by abnormal data returned by the sensor and abnormal operation of the actuator. Although the specific cause of the fault needs to be further read by professional diagnostic equipment to determine the fault code. But this is undoubtedly a clear signal that there is a problem with the gearbox.
Vehicle power drop
Under the same throttle depth, the acceleration of the vehicle is significantly slower than before, and the engine power does not seem to be well transmitted to the wheels through the gearbox. This may be the failure of the hydraulic torque converter inside the gearbox, the slipping of the transmission components and other reasons, resulting in reduced power transmission efficiency and affecting the power performance of the vehicle.
Gearbox idling, weak:
when the gearbox clutch plate is damaged, the engine will slip and idling
In-gear engine stalling:
Hang into D or R, engine stalling this failure may be caused by damage to the locking solenoid valve or the locking control valve
Lock:
the input and output signals of the gearbox are incorrect or the components themselves or the lines are bad, and sometimes there will be problems with the communication between the gearbox computer and other system computers
If you find that the vehicle has the above conditions, it is recommended to send the car to a professional auto repair shop in time, so that professional maintenance technicians can detect and diagnose, so as to determine the problem and carry out maintenance as soon as possible.
